Qetesh Goddess of love and beauty, often associated with or compared to Hathor. She was a foreign goddess, perhaps from Syria. She was depicted as a nude woman standing on the back of a lion. She, along with the god Bes, was one of very few deities to be represented full face. Some accounts say the god Min was her consort. According to Budge, she was called "mistress of all the gods, the eye of Ra, without a second" and was worshipped as a moon goddess. Other Gods ©2004 Fruit of the Nile. All Rights Reserved.
